Intro
Chengdu Yan has debuted in Lan Kwai Fong, Central—an internationally covered opening for the Michelin‑awarded Sichuan brand operated by Xiangtianxia Group. For launch day, our team designed a complete floral experience from street to seat: statement congratulatory flower stands at the entrance, an eye‑catching reception feature, and low centerpieces tailored for round dining tables and private rooms.

The Brief
- Celebrate the flagship opening with impactful, photo‑friendly florals visible from the street
- Keep dining table arrangements low for clear sightlines and easy conversation
- Reflect the brand’s refined Sichuan identity while complementing dark, gold‑toned interiors
- Provide cohesive styling across entrance, reception, private rooms and main dining area
Our Floral Direction
- Palette: luminous yellow, crisp white and deep greens to pop against bronze and charcoal finishes
- Hero blooms: white phalaenopsis orchids and yellow “dancing lady” orchids
- Texture and form: ping‑pong chrysanthemums, hydrangea, calla lilies, aspidistra, airy asparagus fern, seasonal foliage
- Vessels: black low bowls for 360° viewing on round tables and lazy susans; oversized urn for the reception focal point
Design Highlights
- Entrance congratulatory stands
A row of tall stands framed the building entrance, featuring cascading oncidium, white orchids and textured greens. Custom message cards and trailing elements created movement and high visibility for guests and media. - Reception feature arrangement
A grand urn composition in white and yellow anchored the welcome area—layered orchids, hydrangea and lilies with branching greens to echo the venue’s gold details and mirrored ceilings. - Low table centerpieces
Compact, sculptural bowls were designed for private rooms and communal round tables. The low profile preserved sightlines while the orchid‑forward mix delivered elegance at every place setting.
